The Padel tour for 2025 began in January with the finals taking place in December in Barcelona. It comprises two tiers: the Premier Padel and the Cupra FIP Tour. The Federación Internacional de Pádel (FIP) Silver Australian Padel Open was the first to be held in January. Since then, the tour has touched down in over 150 locations worldwide and counting.

Following the growing popularity of Padel in the Mediterranean, it will feature for the first time in the 2026 Mediterranean Games. This inclusion was driven by the ICMG's commitment to modernising the sports programme in the Games. In the United States, the USPA has also announced a record-breaking schedule for the 2026 tournament.
The first half of 2026 now features 115 tournaments, making it the largest competitive calendar in padel history in the US. For the second half, the full schedule will be released by the end of January 2026. Another interesting event to watch out for in 2026 is the inaugural FIP Intercontinental Cup, initially scheduled for July 2025 and postponed until 2026.
About Padel
Padel sets itself apart in style and gameplay, making it an attractive racket sport. Some professional players, such as Lara Arruabarrena and Roberta Vinci, have switched from tennis to become active Padel players. The primary international circuit organised by the FIP for male and female professional players is the Premier Padel Tour.
It began in 2022 with two event categories, namely the Major and the P1. In 2024, the P2 category was added alongside the Tour Finals, where the top 16 players compete. So far, the men's doubles champions for previous editions are Alejandro Galán and Juan Lebrón (2020–2023) and Agustín Tapia and Arturo Coello (2023). In 2024, Agustín Tapia and Arturo Coello defended their 2023 title and successfully retained it.
